RTX 3080/3090 causing "Crash to Desktop" (CTD) problems!

After the problems with the launch of the new Nvidia GPU's , another tumbling rock hits Nvidia in the form of system crashes, further investigation revealed that crashes were occurring as the card was hitting clock speeds of 2.0+ GHz.

The culprit of failing GPU's was found out to be the capacitors that AIB partners were soldering at the back of the GPU's (as in the marked circle of the image below) which are used for filtering NVVDD/MSVDD GPU voltages. The issue is predominantly related to the choice of capacitors. AIBs must follow NVIDIA guidelines to use either POSCAPs (Conductive Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitors) or MLCCs (Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitor)
